What have you done in preparation for the 2020 hay season?

Well I just finally figured out a fuel filter mystery on my big Massey thats been driving me nuts for 2 years. I could never get the primary fuel filter cartridge to fit quite right. Never seemed to push on correctly and the lock ring wouldnt tighten. I was always lightly seeping a little Diesel fuel.
Well today, its solved. Previous owner lost the OE fuel pump. He replaced it with fuel pump from a newer version of mine and it takes a different fuel filter. When you buy a fuel pump, you get pump and new filter housing.
One more mystery solved on the Massey 7495. Shes ready to cut hay now.

Peter: I just ordered a replacement step for my L48 from Paul Short, in Bay Roberts, Nfld.
His photos look great, and his step is 2" lower, plus a slight bit wider, with a much better boot grip surface.
Old guys think about step convenience/safety!
I think it will be a nice upgrade to the Kubota OEM step.
Would be great for both your L47, and your L3800.
You could raise your per bale price just a penny or two!

$264.....incl. shipping from Canada.
I assume you looked at the pix?

I didn't think you grow hay, I assumed that you might cut for others, and then sell it, ...like Hay Dude?
Or....do you just buy it already baled, and then....sell to others?

I'm too old to NOT spend that for a step!
One OOPS, and I'm on the ground, with maybe some broken OEM parts!
And then .....on to the dreaded nursing home!
Yah think they actually might have some hot chicks there???:dance1:
I kinda doubt it!
