What have you done with/to your GC Series 2300, 2400, 1700 Tractor TODAY

was -6f this morning, now 9am and its 4f out. think the tractor can sit there for some time before I lay under it.

edit: diesel 911 worked its magic. ran block heater 90 min, 10f outside at little past 10am, glow plugs 30 seconds and purring away. am still going to change filter as visible wax in it yesterday. that will teach me lessons about forgetting the additive and parking in area I know is bad. never said I was good at this.

not for offroad. usually the fuel is good just xover to winter blend had not happened 2 weeks or so ago when I filled can and tractor up. basically crappy timing and me forgetting to put additive in. actually forgot to buy more when I used my last on another persons GC in Feb or March 2025. its on its way to me now

I've just been moving snow, moved snow again this morning, will be out moving snow again this afternoon. It's been almost non stop fun since thanksgiving.

New snow last night, 4", and now it's raining quite a lot at 30F.

I really hate "freezing rain" the most of any conditions!

Trying to remove some cattails in the pond without getting stuck. I walked it first and almost lost my boots.


It started getting cold and rainy, and I had some cleaning up to do. I'll try again this weekend.

It's been about 27F all day and finally the rain quit about 2pm.

They say we received about 4" rainfall this week and now most of our snow is gone.

What snow is left is full of water for sure.

Missing most of the cold from the north because we're on the west side of the Rockies.
