What hydraulic motor to buy?

Hello,

Thanks everybody for the response. I just found out I gave some wrong info for my question! I need a motor that operates at 450rpm. I will be running one of the units on a JD 2955 (85pto hp) @21gpm and 2320psi. The other unit will be behind a JD 7410 (105 pto hp) @26gpm and 2900psi. Hope this info can help figure this out.

Neither one of these tractors will develop 40 HP hydraulically to drive your rake.

What about adding a pto powered pump?

If you are driving one machine with the PTO, how are you going to power the pump. It needs about 58.5 HPto pump 40 GPM.

This is another instance of running out of HP.

By putting a longer pto extention on the pto itself acting as a through shaft for the baler driveline?

You could probably make an extension like this, but it would probably wobble to much and destroy itself.

If you don't know the HP the driven implement is using, how will you know what pump to use even if it is possible? .

I believe a shaft extension after the PTO pump is asking for trouble.
