Not to change the subject, but Mazda does the same thing as LS. They don't sell their service manuals to the public. And if you do find it they cost 3-4-5 hundred dollars to start. I know , I tried to find one for the GF's Mazda Protege. The manuals were prohibitively expensive. They force you to take the car to a dealer of reputable independent shop. So, has that kept anyone from buying a Mazda? Not really. B.
LS does sell manuals. They're not cheap, but not 3-5 hundred dollars. I asked my dealer to get me one and he said they're redoing the manual...I need to call back to see if they're ready.
