What if the dealer won't or can't fix a problem?

That is what I was thinking but since it is the mid PTO he will need a mid PTO attachment. The dealer shpuld have heen able to put another mower on it.

Thanks for all your replies and suggestions. To try to answer some points, greased everything when it was delivered and checked oil in gear case. There is no noise when the deck is off. It only becomes noticeable at 2400RPM and above. As aczlan said, his didn't have the noise nor did the BX2200 that I had for 12 years. Yes the BX's do have hydraulic whine but this is not it. Every Kubota mower deck I've ever heard whether BX or B or ZT just had that solid rumble.

Take the belt off and check the spindles for play.

Several steps we would do here, first disconnect the pto shaft and try it. Second would be to connect the shaft and remove the belt and try it. When you do that it also would be easy to check for a bad bearing in the deck. Do remember, you can never build the exact machine twice! It's really just us!
