What implements is best to maintain the gutter of a long driveway that hugs along a fairly steep hillside? It's a little tough to do it with the box blade tilting to one side. I'm hoping there a specific implement for this task. I have almost a mile of driveway that needs to clear the gutter for drainage a few times a year or the road got wash away. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’ve always used a rear blade for cleaning up the ditches. The inexpensive one that I have will allow the blade to off set or swing to the side keeping the tractor on the drive. The blade also tilts up to about a 45 degree angle to scrape the ditch.

I vote for the rear blade too. I use one to create ditches and waterways by angling the blade and lowering the forward side so it plows. an offset style as MarkV suggested would be just the ticket for you. You could even make a custom extension for the leading edge that was rounded to fit your ditch bottom, leaving a nice clean radius.

How about a pond scoop?

I use the FEL and the Back Hoe on my BX23

Rear blade. One with the ability to offset quickly and easily prefered. Those that can angle the main beam simply by lifting a pin seem to be the easiest.
