In a thread last summer, https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/rural-living/396885-what-good-long-term-weather.html, I asked for radar prediction sites and TBN turned up two I like and use frequently (Ventusky - Wind, Rain and Temperature Maps and Interactive Future Radar Forecast Next 12 to 72 Hours).
Now I'm asking for what is presently the best for general predictions of temp and precip for a few months in the future.
I had been relying on NWS CPC but it seems to be a bit off.
The map on the left is what was predicted on Dec 20th, and is still active in the above link. The map on the right is the prediction made Dec 31.

A fairly big change, where I had been looking at cooler than normal in the Southeast US it's now predicting normal.
At this writing, (0745 1/1/1991) it's 62 degrees out in DC, "normal" high for the day is 42. Thus when I had planned on relaxing in front of the TV for a "below normal temp" "holiday" my boss (me) will require me to go out and do vehicle maintenance.
So what are people using for weather prediction sites for CONUS for 3 months out?
thanks in advance
