What is holding this building up? I thought I would post this for a laugh. Could this be a helium filled building? Could it be attached with a sky hook? no wait I know its been photo shopped? You decide.

I think the picture was taken with a fast shutter speed as the building was falling down the hill. :D

Could it be attached with a shy hook?
It might be a shy hook :D but I would be more inclined to guess that it is large chunks of concrete embedded in the hillside holding the 6x4's in.

I was going to build a dock something like that. I was going to use an old trailer house frame{metal I beams}. I would have had to bury and weigh one end{a lot} then have the other stick out over the pond.

It looks improbable, like the weight of the building and the length and size of the beams would not support it.

I thought of building something your dock 20_20. I considered doing it by making an 'A' frame on each side that was well anchored on the shore end, then attach guy cables to the top points of the 'A' and run those back to more anchors farther up the shore. The steeper the shore, the stronger it would be. Never did it though.

I can see now it's steel cables attached to the pipe and anchored back to the hill, you can see the posts that were removed.

Was this an experiment, doesn't look to safe.

Maybe it was done to replace sinking posts?

JB.
