I currently have an L2350 and a 4690 Backhoe. I will admit once you get the two together its very easy to operate, however i know that it is pretty limited to applications because of strength. Plus putting it on is a trick, sometimes are harder than others.

I have been looking strongly towards an L39, but the dealer hasnt been able to give me a lot of details on the L39 because of how new it is i guess. What all is required to remove the backhoe off of an L39? Surely it is easier to put on than a 3pt mounted one. I have seen an L39 up close, but i wasnt able to decipher how the backhoe is removed, and Kubota's website has very sad pictures of the beautiful machine, and i have not been able to locate a .PFD of the opperators manual.

Any input, feedback, or even pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

if it is anything close to the L 48 hoe, then it takes less than five minutes to remove and about ten, to re-hook

how long does it take to put the 3 point hitch on? Once you remove the backhoe

I could take it off in 3 and backon in 5... but I do it several times a month.

You are very good, but 5 min for off and 10 min for on is about normal. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I can't do it that fast, but it is extremely easy to do. Keep in mind though that if you are taking the hoe off to use the 3pt hitch, then you'll need to install that gear prior to hooking up anything and that will take a bit more time, but not too bad.

It's an amazing machine...perfect size and staggering power for such a little guy. I like the fact that it's very manuverable and can easily be towed by a pickup. There is no comparison in the brute build quality to a standard CUT (if you require such). But it's also heavier and that may or may not be what you need. Forget driving it on any finished lawn area, unless you want to run around with a pitch fork pulling the ruts out of the soil. Actually you can drive it across the lawn, but not more than once in the same location or you'll kill everything. It's very capable, but like any equipment can be damaged. It's not bulletproof.

If you feel you need a smaller TLB you will not be disappointed with a L39.
