WHAT IS IT WORTH?

Hi Gerard................Take it easy on Travis.....obviously he knows worth is what someone will pay, but he was asking others, based on their experience, for a range of monetary figures he might expect his tractor to bring. A rough "ballpark" amount might greatly help one decide how or whether to proceed with the efforts of advertising, receiving phone calls, e-mails, etc.

And besides, doesn't your post signature mention something about how there are NO dumb questions except the ones never asked?....

I thought the same thing!

Quite ironic, really!

But his signature line doesn't mention anything about what one should expect for an answer!

Travis---If you know a dealer that has a tractor blue book you might ask him what the book price is showing for your Mahindra. When I sold my JD last winter I went to three different dealers and found out what they would give me for it, then one dealer did tell me what the book value was, I then came up with a price. I sold mine on ebay, got what I was asking and the man who bought it thought he got a bargain. As everyone else has said I would sell the implements seperately. Good Luck.

Well, I have some bad news.

I sold my Mahindra today. I know that the buyer got a heck of a tractor though.

I now can buy my compact Yanmar. After owning a Mahindra for 2 years (3rd owner), I can say that they are SOME TUFF TRACTORS. PERIOD.

Was I concerned about re-sale 2 years ago when I bought it? NOT AT ALL. In the time I had it, I put about 308 hrs on it and sold it for $100 LESS than what I paid for it 2 years ago. But I kept it well maintained too. I probably made close to $500 with it also with what little work I done with it for people around here..........This should let everyone know that Mahindra does have some sort of a re-sale value if you ask me.

I still want to be part of the Mahindra forum here on TBN. If someone wants to talk to me about Mahindra tractors, just get in touch with me because i'd definitely recommend one.

Thanks for the support on here in the wonderful time i've had with my tractor. It was greatly appreciated.
