What is Rhino Wrap?

I noticed the term Rhino Wrap used in this thread and guess I don't know what it is. Is that the Commercial name? Assume it's some type wrap for the hydraulic hoses to give them more protection? Any info appreciated.

Isn't Rhino Wrap the heavy plastic they wrap around pallets and various freight to keep people from opening the boxes and basically stealing stuff.

Hey Scrounger,
That stuff is used in warehousing and transporting to keep palletized cartons from falling apart and making a mess of the whse., product and trailers. I'm a trusting soul didn't think about the theft advantage.

That stuff really works too. Last week I got a large shipment of cardboard boxes of various sizes that were all shipped flat and tightly bundled using the rhino wrap. the load was then placed on several pallets for delivery. The semi parked on the road because of the ice on our drive and I ran the TC-40D out to pull the load with the pallet forks. Coming back to the house I built up speed since there was more than one pallet to be unloaded. Anyway the load got to bouncing and before I could slow the New Holland down the whole load came bouncing off the pallet, rolling end over end until it stopped. Nothing was out of place and nothing was damaged. I just wish they would have used that same stuff to wrap the load to the pallet itself.

Rhino Wrap

Norm Harrold refers to it as <font color="blue">( Finally, I wrapped all the tnt hydraulic hoses with some twist-on plastic protector stuff ("Rhino Wrap") that seems really tough; got it from the local logger hydraulic shop. ) </font>

I googled it and all I could find was the stuff talked about here already for protecting pallet loads.
