What is some of your Pet Peeve's

For the life of me I can't figure out where I'm putting my work gloves for my left hand I have literally dozens of semi worn work gloves for my right hand granted I'm right handed but where do all my left handed gloves go? This morning was going to do some welding all I could find was 3 right handed leather work gloves. It's Sunday so I'll attempt to keep my peeving rated pg out here in the barn...

When I buy something I need in a few weeks, then when I go to look for it, has disappeared.
So I do the work, takes longer and more frustrating.
Then the next day I find it.

I have your spare lefts, here! I wear out right-hand gloves like no one's business, and am always left tossing small collections of left-hand gloves in good condition.

I always felt like someone should sell right replacements.

When I buy something I need in a few weeks, then when I go to look for it, has disappeared.

I have basically no short-term memory, something I inherited from my mother. As a result, I’ve learned to “bin” all projects. I have 16” x 20” heavy duty stackable bins, and all planned projects get a bin, into which all purchased materials collect in the weeks leading up to a project. Then when the last items arrive and it’s time to execute, I’m not trying to remember what I put where.

About as minor as it gets but one of my pet peeves is people who put an apostrophe on every word that ends with an s. Peeve's is a good example. Sorry...I will get back to tractor stuff now.

I,ve got a friend that buys the exact same 24 pairs of socks at a time. All black, the last bunch was CAT brand. he said very easy to sort, and if one wears out, no problem, use as a spare til another wears out.

I do that also, but at 10-15$/pair I only buy a few at a time.

No, they are wool. Cotton is soaked from sweat before I even get out the door.

I hear ya. We don't wear shoes in the house, I'll keep old holey socks to use in the winter when the floors are sorta cold.
I don't like throwing out clothes, period until there's nothing left. You should see some of the "grub clothes" I have for working around the house. No sense staining/ripping "good" clothes. So what if I look like a homeless person?

The old guy at the shoe store looked at me funny when I talked about work work boots, and dress work boots. Have had the same Redwing 953's for 40 years. With thick wool socks. Need the support and absolutely no pressure spots. Then he related the story many years ago about how a farmer came in and ordered a couple pair of work boots. Needed the same thing, same issues. The next time they were discontinued except for orders of 6. So six he got. Next time minimum was a dozen so a dozen he got. By the time he made to the end of those, his feet had changed enough where they didn't fit any longer.
