How's this for a pet peeve; over sharing medical issues or problems. Fine, you have PTO next week, even OK with Doc Appointment; but dont need or want to hear about your butt camera, or why you're going to the doctor. Keep all that medical stuff to yourself.... Dont want to hear here a stranger or casual acquaintance talk about how they are a breast cancer survivor, or whatever. How are you suppost to respond to that, "that sucks" or what, no need to share everything.

I remember going for my colonoscopy.
That liquid really cleans you out... It's like the worst case of the runs you ever had. But at least it gets rid of all the junk in your intestines from when you were a kid. I swear it even got the pieces of gum that had been up there since I was knee high to a road kill snake.

You mean stuff like that?:ROFLMAO:

Yep. I dont need to hear about a coworkers Herpes outbreak, or that they backed up. Just tell me you won't be in, and its personal, im good with that

Are most building plans still done in 2D CAD, a’la 1987, or have architects finally reached stepped into the mid1990’s with 3D plans and renderings?
I'm more of an 80's guy myself, but I can't imagine that building construction documents would need to be anything but 2D even now. I'm sure they are using CAD to do 3D for "presentation drawings", i.e., pretty pictures to show what the building will look like.

But for construction drawings, I would imagine 2D plans, elevations, sections, and details would be the most used views. Occasionally, you might have some detail that is so confusing that you need a 3D view to build it, but those are few and far-between.

The new spec book that covers most of our stuff is like 1400 pages, and then there is the standard plans, details for everything thats like another 2000 pages; but since they no longer intended for print, they have started including links to some pictures for clarity. Such as acceptable vs not for a milled surface texture to open to traffic, which is easier than reading it in words.

So, our plans might only be 14 pages long, but they incorporate those documents by default. Good if you are familiar, really Rough if you're used to building houses

I've never had herpes. Just lucky I guess with my history. I've had cold sores which are related to the sexually transmitted type.
They can be painful especially when they are at the oozey stage.
But I'd rather have them than hemorrhoids. Supposedly they are uncomfortably itchy and burn not to mention the bleeding.
Must be a ***** to have bloody smelly finger all the time.

The gastroentrologist I use has gotten away from the prescription stuff that tastes like liquid plastic, and now has patients use an entire bottle of Miralax (or equivalent) mixed with Gatorade (no purple or red flavors). Same effect, but doesn't taste quite as bad.

Can we get someone to post their colonoscopy in 3D?
I've been putting off scheduling my colonoscopy, so they sent me a kit, where I'm supposed to sh*t in a box and mail it in for analysis. I could post a picture of that, if it would help. 🤪

I saw a "news" clip years ago about a Hollywood celebrity that was sick of the paparazzis hounding him. As the cameras recorded everything, he had a loud pretend conversation on the phone.

"Yeah, the rash and scabby area is getting larger, and there's a smelly discharge..."
