I have one. When people see someone and they think they are going through some financial difficulties. Then come in and try to lowball buy them out. When I lost my job at the landfill this old neighbor of mine stopped by and told me he would take my excavator off my hands since I needed the money. I let him know how I felt and that I didn’t need his money


Fast forward a couple years the house Kate and I were renting burned early one morning. That evening I drove to the next town to pick up a spare kennel for my dog and this guy I’ve known for many years told me he’d by my place in the county since I needed money to find a new house. Didn’t even say I’m sorry for your house or crap.

One of my favorite features of my newest pickup truck is that I can actually flip on the bed cargo light while driving. My older trucks all had that disabled. I will and often do flash that at anyone behind me, who either left their highbeams on, or is tailgating me.

I was heading south with another truck and someone hundred yards or so back wouldn't dim their lights. I flashed my work lights at him and he ignored it. The other guy told me to pass him, and then flashed his work light which were according to the driver, aircraft landing lights. They turned night into day and the headlights were dimmed.

I watched the private Amazon driver pull up, get out, and throw my pkg over the fence at the dog - who was just going off! Funny now because he realized he tossed the wrong pkg and needed it back, Every time he put a hand on the gate that big dog hit my side of the gate up high. I watched this for a minute and decided to come out. Told the guy I don't want my goods thrown over the fence, they might break. Driver just said no English. No English. What !? no english? How the hel! are you an Amazon delivery guy? Then he speaks chinese into the cell phone and shows me the translation. Sheesh - hard way to make a living. Finally got the right pkg and sent him on his way. Amazon

I think it's because "accident" implies that nobody is really at fault, which seems to be how things are these days.

A crash could mean that somebody did something wrong, which isn't acceptable anymore.
