People who just can't, for whatever reason, refrain from political posts in a NON-POLITICAL FORUM. I just don't understand it.

Same here. It is why I end up ignoring some people on a forum when all they do is ad politics to a post.

I started a post “Tell us something we don’t know”. It kind of took off and I like all the things I’ve learned but at one point politics got into it but the mods were nice enough to prune it and put it back up. Politics just shouldn’t be involved in a forum unless it directly relates to tractors and even then…….

That's why I don't read the "Electric Vehicle" thread anymore. As much as I hate to admit it, I was the resident troll.

I always hated to see a scab cross the picket line.

Though I have never belonged to a union I have always supported unions because they are better for our American society. Because of my support of unions I have never crossed a picket line. That said, I have also never used the tern "scab" for someone who crossed a union picket line. I never knew the reason why someone crossed the line. Oftentimes someone crossed a picket line in order to feed their family. People who cross a line have their own reasons and it must be hard to cross a line, especially if they have friends in the line. Since I don't know why somebody would make the hard choice to cross a picket line I won't make that choice all that much harder when I don't know their personal situation by insulting them.

I agree with WinterDeere, posting stuff about unions can get into a political discussion real fast and I think I should not have posted anything about unions. Oh, BTW, I saw what you did. That ranks, har har.

People that use the word, "literally," when they should have used just about any other word as an adverb, such as figuratively. Had a co-worker that used "literally" in near all of his sentences. We tried to break his habit by asking for citations, in writings, which he couldn't do. This literately frustrated him.
