My wife claims I talk to myself, most of the time I'm not aware of it. Maybe I'm going deaf too?

20+ years later I still cringe, as she didn't deserve it. Some would say I should lose my "man card" for that. Yet I gave it up that night when I didn't say speak up and say she didn't deserve it.

I think most of us have been guilty of that...letting a crude or ignorant statement pass without calling out the offender. It can be a fine line at times, but I've felt the way you did more than once too for letting something like that slide.

I personally do not enjoy listening to anyone cuss at all. To me its a sign of ignorance, plus I don't keep any friends with potty mouth syndrome very long.
Life is to short and I only have so much sand left in my hour glass to have my ears burning...

Think it was my High School Gym teacher who said profanity proved a limit vocabulary. As I grew understood it more and more.
