VW claims 300 mpg or 100k per liter in 2014
Back in the '70s, the story was they could get 100 MPG with a carburetor. So I guess with EFI, the figure, they say, is 300 MPG.Oh, come on. That story has been around for as long as I can remember so it has to be true!
That's with inflation calculated in, right?Back in the '70s, the story was they could get 100 MPG with a carburetor. So I guess with EFI, the figure, they say, is 300 MPG.
Can't watch the video right now, my office mate is on a conference call. But doesn't VW have somewhat of a history of false claims, regarding mileage and emissions?VW claims 300 mpg or 100k per liter in 2014
They did say the Poles threatened them so they had no option but to invade. Can't watch the video right now, my office mate is on a conference call. But doesn't VW have somewhat of a history of false claims, regarding mileage and emissions?
There's a lot more than a carburetor involved here. Actually no carb, as it's a diesel-electric hybrid. Using that logic a Tesla gets infinite miles per gallon.
There have been people pushing to stay on daylight savings time, which would be weird. High noon would not be high noon at the geographic center of the time zone, anymore. We would be permanently out of sync with everything from satellites to historical astronomical data, and those countries that don't observe daylight savings time.I'm sure it has been said before, but for me the upcoming time change is a major pet peeve.
