What is the American Version of the 2202D?

I bought a ym330D service manual for my 2202D and there are alot of differences between these two tractors.. The transmission is different along with most of everything else... Someone told me it was almost exactly the same tractor... Does anyone know a better match for the 2202D? I want to work on my gear box and would like to have a manual... Thanks Dan

It is my understanding that none of the grays are exactly like the US models. You should be able to get the Parts catalog for the 2202D. The Parts Catalog would have the exploded diagrams and the parts number lists. For the Operation manual and the Service manual the you have to settle for the closest US model. It may be that if you call Len Shaeffer he can tell you what a closer US model is. We have a thread here where we are trying to build a list of the grays and their closest US models but it is not complete. It may be that some of the people who have the knowledge are reluctant to post it here because they can't be sure it will lead to a sale. Thats business./w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif

A YM 2402 and a YM 2202 are the same except for internal engine parts. The US YM276 is probably the closest to them. I have both manuals and several part numbers are the same. However the transmission will not be. The US model has a powershift trans and the YM2202 has a manual. The Japanese manual would be the best bet.
