Redneck in training
Elite Member
When I was a kid only one family in the village had a TV so we had to entertain ourselves some other way. We did a lot of bad stuff I suppose but most of it were more or less innocent pranks. It was a village tradition I suppose to do stuff like that. My father did the same thing. Actually some ideas came from stories told by my father and grandpa. Then I moved to a city, got some schools and turned into city slicker for about 40 years. Now in preparation for retirement I moved back to a country. My wife was born and raised in the city so there was some apprehension on her side but if I would tell her to move back to town again she would say "Only over my dead body". Life is a great adventure and I think I just completed the circle. I am back where I started. Since there was long time between my childhood and present I think I still consider myself in training to become a real Redneck and be proud of it.
