Well I found an old sticker on it and like I thought, because of green paint, it is a John Deere. Can’t find the model though. It measures just over 11’ at rear blades. I need to locate some bearings for it. I think they are the old obsolete wooden bearings.

Nope, I though so too but further research, from looking at pictures on the web, show it to be a John Deere AW. Just have to find more info now. I got it for free and plan on getting it back in good working shape.

Yes I think your correct. Looks like a good solid project, you’ll have a nice disk when finished.

Yeah it worked great when I used it last, 40 years ago lol. I got it from my 97 year old uncle and it has been sitting for at 30 years since last used.
