I have found OEM Kubota not diluted coolant for a fair price at Coleman Equipment..... $29.78 plus shipping.

It's just plain old conventional green coolant!
Think 1990.
Under $10 at the parts store.
Good Luck!

I use Zerex 5-year antifreeze. I paid $16.95/gallon - non-diluted @ NAPA.

I use John Deere 5 year anti freeze because I have it but I distinctly remember my Kubota owner's manuals saying ethylene glycol (the old stuff) and a two year change cycle. I used the Deere stuff because I couldn't easily find the the old stuff but just learned that a New Holland dealer near me stocks it so I might switch to the old EG.

I have always changed when required, flushed the system and made a federal project of it. Unless a neglected cooling system, I never got any rust or debris out. So now I just drain the system, add a gallon of distilled water to the radiator and let it drain out. Then I refill with fresh pre-mixed anti freeze and feel I'm good to go. So far, so good.

Last year I did flush an old Ford truck 1960's 300 six cylinder and had to flush and run four times before I got all the gunk out. I think the cooling system was 24 quarts.

The antifreeze I just took out of my 1986 Ford tractor was as clear/green as the day I put it in 12 years ago. I was going to put it back in but since I'm doing a restore/paint, I figured what the heck. I bought new hoses for the radiator too.

So, what in antifreeze wears out after two years? Or is that just another Kubota profit center?

Coleman Equipment canceled my Kubota coolant order claiming that the item is out of stock.

It appears that there is an anti freeze issue for Asian manufactured engines.
They should have silicate free, Borate free anti freeze, which apparently, some USA brand names are not.
Zerex, and Peake both have a product (only pre-mix?) that meets these requirements.
Perhaps there are other brands too.

Not just kubota on the two year deal with green coolant. Google cavitation and you'll see why all diesel engines should have regular drain and fill of coolant. If not it can eat the motor and radiator alive from turning acidic. Car truck or tractor at the very least oh strip the antifreeze.

I know cavitation. I used to own a boat. :) I stopped it by changing props. Cavitation is caused by a design flaw. If it's occurring in a cooling system, the design is bad. Makers will often use a high pressure (10+psi) radiator cap to reduce cavitation as well as raise the boiling point of coolant. Both are "fixes to a poor cooling system". Face what it is. Don't blame the antifreeze.

Diesel engines create static electricity due to piston movement and compression. Coolant becomes a battery to carry voltage. Different than boat cavitation due to the water is captive. Old 6.9 and 7.3 Ford trucks with green coolant it ate holes in block. Ditto for higher hp John Deere. It's a real deal that $20 worth of antifreeze and distilled water can prevent.
