That's an extremely broad statement that would cover a huge range of engines made in multiple countries and by differing manufactures. I can't find any Kubota literature stating this recommendation. If this is an issue certainly It would be in the manual. One thing I've found researching oils. You can't believe information posted on well known dealer sites such as Coleman's. They have oil information that conflicts with the Kubota factory web site.
Why do auto parts houses sell brand name coolants labeled "for Asian engines"?
Coolants for Asian engines state specifically that they contain no Silicates or Borate, because (PILOON post #18) they tend to eat internals.
Are you suggesting that is only a sales gimmick?
Coleman's sells Kubota products.
I don't see how there could be any Kubota/Coleman's description conflict.
Simply read the Kubota label on the Kubota product that you buy from Coleman's.
