The Kubota will fit on a 14' trailer with the bucket resting on the front rail and a box blade hanging about 4" over the back end. The NH will fit with a little bit of room to spare. I'm not sure the Kubota will ever get moved, but in a pinch I could do it. The NH is likely to make a few trips a year. I opted for no beavertail, but for 6' long ramps. The longer ramps will make the loading sloper easier to manage. I think most of what will be hauled on the trailer will be more like garden size machines (the Ventrac or the Cub Cadet) so 14' will give them a lot of extra room.

Bob,
Sorry I didn't get back to the thread sooner, but I was over in Tazewell playing, er..., working on my attachment selection for my 425.

IMHO you won't be disappointed with the 14 footer. As I interpreted your needs, 14' was the way to go. And, as you said, for that rare occasion you need something bigger, rental is an option. If you need bigger for longer, I doubt you'll lose anything on a trade or private sale of your 14 footer. These trailers find such wide utility (maybe that's why they are called utility trailers /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif) from mulch hauling to race cars and everything in between.

Enjoy.
