What is this for?

My Kioti has a special looking pin in the draw bar that looks like it was designed with a purpose but I can't figure out what it would be? Any ideas?

Those were specifically designed for Kioti to use with their drawbars. Don't lose it, replacements are difficult to find.

That pin looks like it goes on the other style of drawbar more commonly used in Europe. This one:

The o-rings will take the rattle noise out of it when the pin is stored on the drawbar.

Was gonna say mine (in the US) didn't come with any special drawbar pins...

Ah, that would make sense based on that picture. I just have the single bar, not the top tongue piece. I was pulling out some bushes with a chain so I removed it and replaced with a shackle but at first I was trying to see if I could hook the chain to that pin somehow but couldn't find out a way. If I had that euro drawbar it would have worked.

I am in Illinois and I think I remember all the new tractors on the lot having a similar pin. This was back in early 2021.

Good call on the shackle. Definitely works better that way with that style of drawbar.

Now, I have no idea why they would send that style of pin over there.
