I would. If you notice levels going down, then you can have the leak addressed by the dealer. A few wet spots is not important, especially when you are talking about splitting the tractor in half to put new seals in. Once the tractor gets broke in, then see what leaks.... I doubt if a wet spot would be a warrantee issue with Mahindra, anyway. A real leak would, though... You should check your fluid levels and make sure nothing is overfilled, too. That could be your problem.

A retired diesel mechanic told me that if the fluid doesn't reach the floor it's not a concern. Just keep an eye on your levels.

I responded on your other thread, but if you really had 3-5 oz of fluid come out of that weep hole, the tractor needs to go to the dealer while it is still under warranty. As dbarron implied, if it is just an oily residue then I would not worry. If it is dripping, use your warranty. It's no small job to split that tractor and fix the rear main or the transmission seals.

Thanks guys! I buttoned everything up today, dried up all leaky areas, and used the tractor for approximately an hour today. Everything ran fine, all fluids were still full, but weep hole had some minor seepage. A few fingers and it was all wiped up. Dealer called me back and said at the very worst, it would need a complete HST replacement. All warranty work so that makes it a little easier to deal with. Dropping it off Thursday. I'll keep you posted with outcome. Thanks to all that responded.
