What is this?

It's definately a MTD. I have most of the parts and pieces from two with that same hood shape. One is red and is called a "Ranch King" and the other is white and has the name on it of some store I can't right now remember that went out of business decades ago. I'd have to say mid '80's is about right.

I dont' think that knowing the year, make, or model is going to help you find parts any easier, though.
