Take it to town if you aren't smart enough to fix it yourself... Got told that growing up, not telling me to take something to town, but to think harder. I bent the tines on the top of automatic bale wagon (harobed) and was standing on top of a step ladder welding overhead when Pa came into the shop and asked me what I was doing, I told him I did not have time to take it town so was fixing it myself. He came and held the ladder at least.
