I like it! But whether for good or bad... that is the way our republic was designed! And honestly I am glad it is that way.

No... two words. I'm on the side of sticking to our constitution with respect to how our our three branches work. It was designed such that it isn't easily changed... a good thing. Easy changes lead to radical shifts depending on the way the wind blows... not good. You ask what 'we' can do about it? Vote. And further, push for term limits. My experience is that most all politicians go in having noble causes. After a re-election or two they see their 'service' as a career and become 'bought' by those that can.

In my opinion, governance should be at the most local level possible, whether it be city, county, state, before the feds rule. I can go on and on...

Oops... said too much. I don't want this thread to become political.
