Mine is similar but no stairs, just a few staggering steps from bedroom to kitchen to hit the coffee maker, then over to the breakfast nook table to fire up the computer.

My trek is not as colorful as some, but much more convenient. But it is nice to walk out onto the deck that surrounds the house as it juts out into the densely wooded property. It is too dark to take photos tonight.

I'm spoiled a little bit. My journey is similar to y'all's, but my coffee pot has a timer and the coffee is ready when I walk into the kitchen.

You got me there, I have to brew it. Of course, it's a Bunn, so it only takes 3 minutes or so.
