What is your opinion of this dealer installed option?

Purchased a BX23S last week and scheduled to be delivered tomorrow (Wed). The dealer installed the lines inside the rear wheel well. Not sure if the pics shows it clearly, but the lines and shield reduce the clearance by more than half. Is this the correct? Would you accept this? Thanks in advance.

What are the lines for?

Do you ever plan on using rear tire chains?

I am new to tractors, etc. I purchased the BX23s and req. a 3rd function valve be installed. I believe this is the tap into the pump.

It makes for a very neat looking installation but what happens to the lines when mud or snow builds up? I believe they'd also be vulnerable to damage if you ran over a branch or something. I would not personally want the stuff mounted inside the wheel well regardless how clean the installation looked.

Ahhhh....... that is a situation looking to become a problem. There is NO WAY I would accept that.

Check out another BX23S also dealer BX23S see if there differents,if so than decide if you want setup if not ask the dealer why this type setup.

It's easy to sit at a computer and say, "Nah, I wouldn't accept that!" However, I think I'd at least ask the dealer as to why the line is routed that way in the first place. Ask why it would NOT be vulnerable to damage. Then, make a decision based on the explanation.
