What kind fire extinguisher... where to mount

Mine's like Solo's but mounted on the right side fender where it slopes to the footpad area. I secure mine with a tension strap. It's faster to undo than remembering how those plastic straps supplied with them work.

Sorry about the off topic question, but...Rob, can you tell me about your rifle scabbard mounted on the other side of your extinguisher? What brand is it? Does the scope stay aligned after being in the scabbard on a bouncing tractor? I had thought about doing the same thing, and was wondering about how well a scope would stay accurate in a mounted scabbard. Have you used it on an ATV?

Thanks!
OK, since it's mounted right next to one of my fire extinguishers anyway.:)
I think I got this one at Sportsmans Guide. I've got a couple of them for scoped and non-scoped rifles. That's an old .22 in there with a 4x scope and it seems to stay aligned. Sort of like when strapped to a horse. I wanted a leather scabbard and not one of those plastic injection molded ones, although I'm sure they would be better by a lot. Normally, I carry and M-1 carbine or shotgun in there. I had one on the ATV as well and also a pistol holster screwed to the carry box. I carry these around the property for snakes and just in case ... who knows? My property is wilderness and borders the BLM, so I never know what I might run across. I could only find these pics.
One shows the buttstock of the M-1. The other are of the ATV (OK, lol...one is a little overboard):D

You have to love Power-Trac. They put the extinguisher right on top of the fuel tank and engine.

I did see a myth busters once that demonstrated a fire extinguisher blowing up and putting out the fire. Maybe that was PT's idea as well.

Thank you, Rob! I liked the photos. Great place! I have had a Koplin gun case, but did not really care that much for it and a leather type seems better. The Koplin does not give like leather does.

Those Power-Tracs look awesome. Duals! Are the tires loaded? I would think not, (it would be a bear to turn). On lots of other heavy equipment the extingusher is usually in the driver's cab. But, that's pretty close to where you are sitting. You want it someplace close, so you don't have to jump down, and run around to get it. Not like a chicken with his head cut off...

Articulated vehicles don't seem to be affected with as much steering problems when using duals as non articulated vehicles, such as tractors. I put duals on my Steiner for a while, until somebody decided that my adapters and extra tire/wheels were worth a lot more than I thought they were. Getting around in the yard was more of a hassle due to the wide stance, but I didn't worry about turning it over...
