What kind of egg?

/ What kind of egg? #12
A few years past I found an egg in the edge of my pond.
Couple of days later another at a different spot under water. Then found a nest with about a dozen at still another spot but they were all ready to roll into the water. I took some stick and grass and built up the side to prevent rolling into pond. Couple more days and empty shells, racoon, fox,??????. Dumb Duck was the source.

Mothra, Japanese sci-fi film character, known for fighting Godzilla - hatched from an egg. (actually, wasn't Mothra a giant flying turtle? or do I have my Godzilla combatants mixed up)

I think Mothra was a giant flying moth with lightening coming from it's antenna. Undoubtedly static electricity from the giant wings.
Egg does seem a bit smallish though.....Hmmmm??!!

yep mothra was a big ole moth as mentioned above, it was controlled by 2 little pixie type girls, who were some sort of ailiens if I remember my Super host moves on the early weekend mornings... though this is difinatly NOT a MOTHRA egg as they laid small cocoons which hatched into big ole honking catapillers.

for some reason the flying turtle I can't remember it's name? pulled it's legs back in and had JET blasts come out the leg hole openings /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I do not think it is either of the creatures listed above but am pretty sure it is a baby un-hatched RODAN egg /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif which was the lizzard/teradactial looking monster whom also fought godzillia way back when

That would be Leonardo or maybe Raphael /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Or maybe Gamera.

Well forget Mothra...I think it's more along the lines of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"... seems Otis has found a cache of them...

NOW, my mental anguish is... what to do with them?

I mean, if they hatch, I'm certainly not setup to care for them, what ever they are. Yet, I don't feel right simply tossing them back to the pond edge, yard, woods, lake or any other... That would be taking their one chance away...

what to do...

My money is on goose. A noisey, nasty, destructive, aggravating, overpopulating and protected goose.
