I have just purchased my tractor - now I need to find out how best to use it!.

I have a regular monthly task, to unload a ton of hay (that's 33 bales) - for my horses - from my pick up into the storage shed.

I have a Cub Cadet 7360SS which appears to be ab excellent machine, but all I have on the loader (an Allied 295) is a standard bucket - 72" wide.

Looking around, I see that there are two types of forks readily available as an add-on. ie Forks which clamp onto the lower edge of the bucket, or a type which are hinged to the top edge of the bucket and can be "folded" down into an operating position when required.

I have not seen any discussion on the pro or cons - of either type of fork - especially for my application.

I would much appreciate comments and advice from the experts on the forum

Regards to all

I bought a pair of 42" forks and a mast off an old forklift in a junkyard. Then fabricated a hitch that would match my quick attach on my FEL. Quick and easy to change from bucket to forks, and the forks will easily handle anything the tractor will.
