Lost some hydraulic fluid from the breather at the top of my reservoir. Went to get more and the guy said what KIND do you want. That question led me on an internet search that yielded more information about hydraulic fluid than I ever wanted to know. There are literally hundreds of kinds available. All kinds of additives and bases---each manufacturer designed their own specs for their own equipment. My Kama 254 operation manual recommends SAE 20/30/40 for the 3 different temp. ranges. The closest I can find at a local tractor supply is ISO 46, which has an equivalency of SAE 20w. Is this the right stuff???????

George,
I use AW32 and it works fine year round, even out here in the hot So. Cal climate. That is also what my dealer told me to use. However, he is located in MO and it gets cooler there than here. I'd stick with AW32 for yours.
