what kind of mower do I need?

I have a l1501 Kubota with FEL and Kelly Backhoe. I want to maintain about 3 acres of land that was cleared of the alders a few years ago and rough graded. I planted a pasture mix to keep the trees from coming back and that has worked somewhat. I want to mow it a few times a year to really discourage the trees.
What kind of mower do I want. I will have to find one used.

This thread is old, did you find a mower? I have the same tractor L185DT 4wd. I use a 48 inch cutting width rough cut rotary mower (brush Hog type) which works well for rough terrain and small brush and wild grass. A finish mower would not do as well for tall grass and such.

Hi Thanks for the info. I am curious about your tractor. you say it is the same as my l1501 but the number you quote is different. Mine is a Japanese import aftermarket.

Still looking for a mower (cheap).
