Looked out front this morning and noticed a brown pile of something that didn't belong. Walked out and found this.. What did it, any ideas?

That's a Horse ! About 6 hours ago - I'd say he was travelling West.

I don't know about it being a horse... that's a pretty good pile, but the individual pieces look a little small, and there's just too many of them.

Maybe a pony or something :p

Taste it. If it taste like hay it's a horse.
Make sure you don't step in it.

It's certainly a substantual pile of poo, but if it were horse, donkey, or pony, wouldn't those leave some pretty deep tracks that are easily identifiable?

Well I would have bet the farm that I would never be a participant in a poop discussion online, but here I am typing away. Never say never.....

Horse seems to be the general consensus, kinda weird as none of my neighbors have horses, goats and chickens but no horses. Kinda makes me wonder where this critter came from. Thanks gang at least I know it wasn't something that might eat me.

Egon was on the right track but wrong species. Looks like you have a Jackalope infestation. I heard they like chewing on tractor tires, so lock your equipment up at night.

Your dog is facing north. Poop grows on the south side of dogs. It wasn't the dog.

(by the way, I think the dog is impressed by the size of the pile)

From the looks of that pile, I would say that it is a Thoroughbred, brown in color, 13 hands high, in need of having the mane trimmed, steel shoes on the from hoofs. After taking a second look, I have to add that the right fore leg has a white stocking and there was a fly on the right hind quarter.
