What makes you grateful?

I was perusing the forum and came across one about life's annoyances, of which there are many. But, there is also much to give thanks...

So, what are you grateful for?

Waking up every morning... on this side of the turf with my family...how about you :confused3:

FAMILY and FRIENDS are at the top of the List. There is Much to be Thankful for, if only We would recognize them.

good health... not my own, necessarily.
we've got 5 grandsons, ranging in age from 1 to 9 yrs.
all are healthy and smart as a tack.
the middle one was born almost 3 months early, weighed 2 lbs 14 ozs.
he's now the liveliest of the bunch.

when we see or hear of a little one with medical issues, we just count our lucky stars !

that's what we're grateful for.

Other than the many blessings of being comfortably retired on my wee bit of paradise, the journey of finding and working towards this goal... I would have to say that it's my very good neighbours.

We're not 'in each others pockets' but we help eachother when we can and with a smile on our face.

For every breath I get, I am a cancer survivor.

Wake up in the morning and see my family and get home to them at the end of the day. That makes the world go 'round for me. I also LOVE living in the country. I love to garden and build stuff, so dirt or grease on my hands means I had a good time, but I don't get to have that every day.
