GW, Thanks for the link.
I looked at the Kubota today and liked everything except the toe/heel control for forward and reverse in the hst. It just seemed a little awkward as opposed to the JD right toe/ left toe...
We used JDs for years before our first Kubota and my wife initially didn't like the Kubota pedal, but now we use both and she prefers the Kubota though like me it is not a big thing one way or the other.
I am in my mid 60's with arthritis in my right knee and am noticing a twinge after using the JD, side by side, but that is unique to me.
My father in law didn't like the JD when he got the 425 and actually put it into ten feet of water when he hit the wrong pedal, but he really liked it when he got use to it. Some like one over the other, so the right one is the one you like best if everything is equal.
