what oil to use Rhino 324

In many cases, there will be a spill port that permits gear oil to flow from tranny to transfer case. But they sometimes clog. To be on the safe side - and to learn more about your tractor - I recommend, you should the transfer case cover plate and perform a visual. Be prepared to cut a new cover gasket though, good chances the old one will be rotten.

I am thinking that you are talking about the plate on the side of the transmission under the gear shifts?

My apologies, Rhino is one of the Chinese tractor brands I've not owned. On the other five brands I've either owned or worked on, the transfer case (or mid-connect box) had a removable top plate. Sounds like Rhino design differs in this detail.

Thanks
The Rhino has the steering box mounted to the top, or mabe the shift levers. I will look at it, there has to be an access somewhere...
