I saw these 2 video clips while looking at the video of the "hydraulic lift trailer for Kubota" that tractorman99 started a thread about. I am sure that there are more and maybe some of you have seen these.
What makes people take these chances ? Necessity, ignorance, stupidity ?
I will admit that at times in my life I have done some stupid things out of necessity, laziness, some times I got away with it, sometimes it has blown up in my face.

If the old Farmall ( I think ) had done what it could have easily done, the outcome would most likely have been fatal

I suspect that all tractor owners, especially kubota owners will cringe at this one.

YouTube - How to load a Kubota tractor on a trailer!!! Episode 2

"This Time" they got away with it. Next time, maybe not !

Had i tried the first clip i would have ended up in the bed of the pickup truck, and on the second and third clip i'm sure that if i had tried that i would have only broke one ramp and rolled the tractor. . . some people have all the luck.

don't have a video of it but we were at a car show and there was this one guy who showed his camaro (mid 70's) and his "show" pick up truck. he bragged how much hp both had and did a lot of rev up at the show so everyone could hear his cams and what nots. well after the show we saw him at a gas station, camaro loaded on a trailer being pulled by the truck. while filling up his truck a couple of people were talking to him about his car . . . brag brag this brag brag that . . . any way after filling up he hoped into the truck and was reving it up again had his door open and rev rev . . . rev rev. he must have been turning up to 5000 rpms anyway, he pulls out in a hurry burning rubber at pump all heads turn to see the cool truck do a burn out pulling a trailer . . . then it happens the camaro rolls off the back of the trailer with the front bumper catching the end of the trailer ripping it up a foot higher than where it was supposed to be. the only thing that went through my mind was dumb @%&. he didn't have the car straped down.

i heard him say he couldn't beleave it happened to him, he just lived around the corner.

As far as the 1st one goes, been there done that, many of times. That use to be the way to load way back. Not saying it was safe nor easy, was just one of those things. of course why anyone would want to load that way now is ??????????????

The 2nd video is just plane lame brained dorks! Seems to me that anyone that has used their hard earned money to buy a tractor{any type} would not have tried that stupid stunt?

The first tractor on the tilt trailer, they must were very popular here for years but not built like that one. They were dual axle with sides and fronts on them. Had a guy load an old JD on such tailer hooked to my pickup, thought he was going into my bed. If you ever go to load on a tilt trailer you do need brakes and in lowest gear have a person with hand on front corner of tailer to doing a slight push down with their hand and they can let you know way before you will the load is about to balance. Matter of fact they can often push it down before the tractor will and do so very very softly.

If you will look at you tube there is a lot of such clips. I like the one out of Asia, I think, where they unload a large excavator from a flat bed truck with out ramps.

But come on guys, get on a pile with excavator digging dirt and you will also learn how do unload without ramps. With the mini excavator with a blade on it and using boom it is amazing how you can got up or down grades safely if you are safe in doing so.

But the sad truth is many do get hurt or killed doing such and their family can not understand as they were doing nothing wrong.

Did you cathc the "eh?" near the end? And thus gentlemen, you have seen why Newfie jokes have become so popular.

Both are fine examples of why I chastise anyone who uses the word "Common" in tandem with "sense" in my safety trainings at work. That is a human capability dead and gone.

The guys loading the Kubota are real dumb s****. They look like 1x boards they are using. They say " you need more blocking" . IQ = 80. I like the guy with the sledge, no reaction, just keeps working. They must be stoned.

I dont have time to wait on this slow thing to load all the vids but I think one mentioned is of the Skidsteer being loaded into a ton flat bed without ramps. Ive loaded many back hoes that way. Especially picking them up with a drop deck trailer thatsn not got room to detach. I know a man that got killed on a dozer, he was side loading onto a flat bed and using timbers. One broke and it rolled over and threw him out then landed on him.
Every time I load something I think of all the safety aspects level, trailer condition weather and everything i can throw in there with out scaring myself into a mistake and I still slid off the side of a lowboy with a D5B I run every day. My neighbors had a tons of old trucks trailers and dozers and such and to see the old trailers they hauled with and the loads they moved amazes me how they all survived. When dad first opened the landfill for the trailer plant He bought an old single axle fith wheel tilttop trailer the nieghbors had. It was fun to load on it. It didnt have a dampening cylinder. You walk up onto the ramp and decel and it would ease down like a feather.
