I have seen those self loaders in use. Awesome! Herzog did not just cobble the loader together, it was engineered and Joe Dokes is not operating it, it comes with a Herzog trained operator. As for the other videos, using a plank to support a 600 to 700 pound tractor is not the brightest thing to do. The guy that puts a couple of supports under the planks, no nails holding them in place???
I have loaded my lawn tractor into my vain many times. I have steel ramps rated at 1500 pounds and once loaded I tie down the tractor and block the wheels, nothing is going to move.
And how do I keep from going end over end? Simple, shift to low-low and creep up the ramps and the end of the ramps are ATTACHED to the bed, will not kick out.
