I am going to see a grey market dealers tomorrow - in Marianna, Florida. What questions should I ask? What should I look for? I am looking at a Yanmar.

References, references, references. Some at least a year old, some fresh. Everybody's happy at first. We always offer shoppers references from our customers. If everyone who buys from a dealer is happy, your choice AT the dealer becomes of far less significance. Your choice OF dealers should always be the starting point.

I noticed the Sitrex finish mowers. Is that the same a Strex? I have two quotes with a Strex 5' finish mower. Wondering if it is the same. Also need a front end loader....

I have never heard of "Strex", but do know that third world countries often capitalize on a well known brand by changing one letter or such. Check our delivery page...we may be very competitive for you. Email (from any link in the website) your address, with zip and I will price delivery for you. It costs nothing to find out.

My visit to this dealer was not favorable. The tractors he had in his inventory were a bit more beat up than I expected for a used tractor. Also, the hours dials were high and low (like new-Viet?). So, too many red flags were going off in my head. The boards advice proved very helpful.
Sadly, I could not convince my significant other about the parts situations for gray market tractors. She and I have seen too many Belarus, etc. type tractors dead on the horse farms with no parts available. **** you Belarus, **** you! Although, I know this is not the case with these tractors, I could not convince her of this fact. Finally, we purchased on a JD 790. Maybe my next tractor will be a gray. Most of my cars and trucks have been Japanese. I know the quality.

Well your 790 is a Yanmar! You may be able to get parts for it from some of the Yanmar parts guys on here!
