what regulatory agency for tel co?

I had a problem with a lp gas co about 10ys back.. a letter to the PSC cleared that up in 2 weeks, with a followup from the PSC.. so I should have good luck with the telco.. or at least I hope so..

My experience with both utilities and insurance regulators is if the company is wrong they got it taken care of. If I was wrong and then they told me so. In SC only the FCC covers cell phone companies.

As to 7 days...love my local phone cooperative. Have had them at office and home within 30 minutes of call. Electric cooperative is about the same.

The utility regulators are basically figureheads or puppets of the utility companies .

Same thing goes with insurance regulators.

Quite correct! In Louisiana, our last 3 insurance regulators are in prison! They haven't been able to pin anything on the present one yet or on the utility regulators. (give them time)

Write a letter titled "Executive Complaint" send it to the highest level Executive at the Telco and copy the Public Utility Commission in your state. That will get you a lot of attention and loads of squeaky wheel grease.
