Looks like you've got your work cut out for you today. You guys got hit pretty hard.
I'm a little south of Syracuse; we got about 10" where I am
and some drifting last night.
I cleared the driveway three times yesterday - first two times
had about 3"-4", then only about an inch and drifting my last run of the night. I find that it's easier to do a few inches at a time if I can rather than waiting until the end of the storm.
Did it again this morning - a few inches and drifting.
They said on the news last night that there may be another storm like this one on January 1.

I love deep snow, have not had any in north eastern Ma. for a long time. Had the bx-22 out doing the driveway this morning had about 8" and some deeper drifts but thats not enough for me. Still remember the blizzard of 78 got a week off from school. we could walk from one yard to the next over the fences. They plowed my street with big military track loader. me and six of my friends talked the army guy's into driving us around town in a duce & half, they were the only vehicle allowed on the roads and we all piled into the back and had a blast. I was only 16 then and I have been hoping for another storm like that since.

I'm 40 minutes west of you, we received 27". I bailed out a neighbor who easily had a 4' bank at the end of his driveway, no way his little JD rider w/blower was going to get the job done. I had a blast with the L3710 and an 80" blower. My road was closed for awhile last night and I heard portions of the NYS thruway were also closed for a few hours.
