Thanks, we like it, our family were some of the original non-Indian settlers of Kentucky, been here since the 1760's. We are only 7 miles from the capitol, and our closest neighbor is 1,500' from our home. Tolerable distance.

My wife has an aunt that lives in Frankfort, and we visited with them last year. Did all the usual tourist stuff too. Needed to spend more time there, and the wife insists that we return soon to have a better tour of the Kentucky horse park when its not all tented over for the big show.
May come back for the national drive next year.
Be sure to visit some of the distilleries here, they don't give free samples, but they are interesting. Buffalo Trace is right in town and has a nice tour and some of the best bourbon in the world. One of the guys I flew with in Alaska was from Idaho, but I don't remember where in the state he lived. He married a girl from California and I think they moved to Hawaii after we left Alaska.
