What Size Bucket To Get ???

You bring up an excellent point. That is the experience I see with folks who buy backhoes. They sit for extensive periods of time. If I need hoe work I prefer to either hire it out or rent an excavator. The cost of owning/insuring and doing work off your property is very high. I think some folks want one because it has always been something they wanted to do and see some jobs where its use is going to be immediately put to use. After using an excavator, the backhoes really are cumbersome for many uses. I wouldn't mind actually having a backhoe, there are just way to many other things I'd rather have and use a lot more. Mark:

I know I'm late in catching up here but I would go with the 60 bucket and get a big one later. I just converted to a quickTach mount on the L3710 and got an 84" bucket this winter. My 60" HD bucket now has a mounting plate along with my forks and changing implemets is now a 1 minute wonder (as in I wonder why the h*** it took me so long to switch to this method). Good Luck!
