what size chain for guard??

/ what size chain for guard?? #11
You want them on both the front and rear. You are correct about making certain they don't get into the blades. I built my own guards. On an early attemt, I left the chains ONE LINK too long. It wasn't pretty.....Flying chain links /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I do commercial bush hogging too. I have three tractor/mowers running 6 or 7 months a year. (Knock on wood) In 29 years of business, so far, no "flying projectile accidents". Reason????? I NEVER let a tractor/mower out on a job without ALL guards in place. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

There is no such thing as being too safe.......... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I am going to build some chain guards for my shredder but I have never really seen a shredder with them on it.

Here is a pic of what mine looks like from the back... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
