I have 17 rolling acres in Oklahoma. Need to move round bales, brush hog, put in arena and keep turned up, move dirt for better drainage for 150' driveway, move fallen trees.
I used a friends Kubota L4300 with forks to move round bales into corral but it tipped several times, brush hogged with a 5' rhino and did okay. I think I need about a 50hp, Kuubota dealer recommended a MX5000. L or M? Big enough or to small. Thanks for the feedback.

50ish hp isn't toobad an idea. I imagine you could 'get by' in the 40hp range and a tractor with a bale spear and counterweights.. though 50hp range is fine.. especially for mowing. I'd also look into how long you want to mow.. and how often.. amount of 'roll' on those hills will be a big factor in determining mower size and type.

rops a must for moving bales in 'hilly' country.. so don't look for used sans rops.. etc.

4wd will be nice.. though not a deal breaker without it.. deffinately need power steering.
