Rear Blade What size rear blade for my B7610

I have the Woods RB60 for my JD 4115 and there are times I wished I had bought the 6' instead. When the blade is angled it won't cover the tracks on my tractor.

I bought a used 6 ft blade for mx bx1500 and cut it down to 5ft. I would not to go smaller with my little scut. If it digs to much, I simply take a smaller bite, however I do like to have the option of having it angled all the way and still cover the tracks. If I wanted more wieght, I would simply strap a 5 galolon drum a concrete to it. I like to option of having it lighter if I want.

I haven't figured out what to do with the 6" I took off both sides yet. Don't think a 1' blade comes in handy often.

You could take a long stick and fasten it opposite the cutting edge of the 1' pieces and make one of those antique digging devices, I think they called them a "shovel". Don't here much talk on these forums about them anymore

ive got a "big" 6' landpride version behind my TC33.

works great. Have yet to bog it down in low. (ive come close cutting off 3-4" of dirt/gravel over about 4')

I like the extra width and how it allows me to move material outside of the normal trac of the tractor. (i can offset it to the side and move material nearly a 2' off to the side of the rear wheel)

thx guys. I ended up going with a 4ft box blade. I found a Midwest with Kioti name for $550 and I had to pick up 40 miles from me and had been sitting for 6 months. Was told paint had faded.

I ended up going with a Befco (came orange paint) delivered for $525, picked up from Befco. It looks very well made. I will post pics in the Box Blade thread that Bob S started.
