The TD55a is about the same size as my tractor. The 8' woods dual-spindle is a perfect match. Does a much prettier cut than a single-spinder cutter but it makes for quite a load to pull on a trailer. I've made few short trips with it on my 20' gooseneck but I hope I never have to do it again.
I've owned this cutter 5 years and probably have about 500 hours on it with zero problems. At 1700 lbs of weight, with practice you can do 180 degree turns like a ZTR by raising the cutter, hitting a brake, then easing the cutter back down all without turning the steering wheel.
